The foundation of our ministry, or any ministry, is prayer.  More than once when we have faced difficult situations, we have drawn on the knowledge that our friends are praying for us.  Thank you.  Here are our current prayer requests:

 

# For Bishop Julio Cesar Holguin and our clergy and people.

# Pray for the Diocese of Haiti as they minister to those in the need.

# Pray for the ministry of those work teams who are coming to the Dominican Republic.  Pray that there journey here and home again will be a safe one.

# Pray that those who are being called to financially support our ministry will hear the message and provide us with the funds we need to continue ministering the the diocese.

# Pray for the people of the Dominican Republic during the difficult economic times this country is facing.  Pray that the hungry will be fed, and the spiritually depressed will be uplifted.

# Pray the elected leaders of the the Dominican Republic.  That they will be lead to wise actions and decisions on behalf which will improve the quality life for all who live here.

# Pray for those impacted by tropical storms which have resulted in flooding.

# Pray that in this time of crisis within the Episcopal Church  that this diocese will receive the support it needs to continue its aggressive program of evangelism. 

#  Pray that resources be found for the dioceses newest ministry - a home for seniors who are living in support. 

#  Join us in giving thanks for those who provided funds to so we could purchase a newer Jeep, so that our travels throughout the diocese will be safer and more comfortable. 

#  Pray that a minimum of 700 brothers and sisters in Christ will hear Christ's call to provide a scholarship to a student attending one of our 18 schools.
